IARAI’s very own Sepp Hochreiter has been invited as a distinguished scientist to NVIDIA GPU Technology Conference (GTC) this spring. This prestigious computing event runs from April 12 through April 16, 2021 and features recent breakthroughs in Artificial Intelligence (AI), graphics, robotics, data science, supercomputing, and more. Sepp Hochreiter is best known for his contribution to the development of the Long Short-Term Memory(LSTM) architecture and his analysis of vanishing or exploding gradients problem in deep neural networks. Sepp will share his discoveries among other pioneers in the field of AI, including Yoshua Bengio, Yann LeCun, and Geoffrey Hinton.

Sepp Hochreiter will discuss his recent groundbreaking research on  continuous modern Hopfield networks, which can be used to store information in neural networks and can be integrated into deep learning architectures as pooling and attention layers, and more. He will present his talk on April 14 at 6PM CET during the Deep Learning Frameworks session. The registration to the NVIDA GTC 2021 conference is free.
