Omid works as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the AI4RS group at IARAI. He is a GIS and remote sensing expert with a strong background in research and development of machine (deep) learning models for the monitoring of land cover dynamics and natural hazards with over 50 papers in international journals. He was a recipient of the Best Paper Awards at the GISTAM 2019 Conf., Journals of Mathematics 2020, Spatial Science 2021, and Remote Sensing 2021.
