Recent advances in remote sensing technologies have led to an exponential increase in Earth observation data. Remote sensing offers global coverage at high spatial and spectral resolutions and provides high-quality information on the objects and phenomena on the Earth surface and in the atmosphere. Complex large-scale heterogeneous remote sensing data can be effectively interpreted using state-of-the-art deep learning algorithms.
