About Document Submission and Winner 2019

Dear hosters,

Thanks for hosting this nice competition and sharing this meaningful data set. Our team TLab finally ranked 4th in the leaderboard. We would like to ask whether we need to submit any documents or codes to support and explain our methods.  If yes, will they affect the final ranking position? 4th place is an awkward position and we want to try to go to the top 3.

Hi guys,

We also have the same question, can we have an unofficial proceedings (to arxiv for example) for the top teams to document and share their methods to the public research world? We (Daimler) attended the competition at the late phase but the ultimate thing for us is not about the prize, but the open research topics / findings.

Thank you for asking! There is a preliminary NeurIPS competition track conference + Traffic4cast Symposium programme online that provides all abstracts. We will update this in the coming days with links to the arxiv and github pages, as well as the streaming video recorded by NeurIPS.
