MemberDear Dmitry,
Looking at the scoring logs I can see that the scoring engine is running but we seem to not have received your submission on the scoring server. I have added further logging to trace any glitches – can you please try deleting the submission and submitting it again and let me know how that goes? You should receive a score within 1-2h max.
Best wishes,
David-

MemberYes, you can. Every participant in your team should register as a separate user. At submission time, users can indicate their team!

MemberDear Fanyou Wu & Yang Liu,
We much appreciate your leading contribution and will make sure it gets honoured appropriately both online and offline. You had suggested digital certificates for all participants, and we will be happy to set something up following your suggestion in the coming days – let’s follow up by email!

MemberDear Tu,
Thank you for asking! There is a preliminary NeurIPS competition track conference + Traffic4cast Symposium programme online that provides all abstracts. We will update this in the coming days with links to the arxiv and github pages, as well as the streaming video recorded by NeurIPS.
We much appreciate your contributions and were happy to see you in Vancouver!

MemberDear Henry,
In fact, we will be releasing the bonus task challenges as the core competition closes, with several weeks left to take them up. That way you can focus on the core challenge first and then take on the bonus task challenges!

MemberDear Henry,
Thank you for your question!
All submissions uploaded until the end of October 15, 2019, Central European Time (midnight, CET) will receive an eligible score. The score may appear several minutes after this deadline, it’s the submission time that counts.
Thank you and good luck!

MemberThank you for bearing with us!
File systems and o/s upgraded, updater cron active and python running again as it should, and the most recent submissino was scored without error it seems.
If you had errors before, please re-submit and let us if everything is alright or you still see any issues.
Cheers,
DavidDr David Kreil

MemberHello Henry,
Thank you for asking! We upgraded the servers last night – can you please try re-submitting? A submission should not be in pending state for more than an hour. If there are any issues again, please let us know!
Best wishes,

MemberThe size of the image in pixels comes directly from the size of the map covering the entire city and the bin size in meters. So that’s correct!

MemberThere are a number of R interfaces to HDF5 files, have a look at the vignette of h5 at CRAN that gives a good overview of R packages supporting HDF5!
